Gratitude Changes Everything…

We are in week forty-eight of our Calligraphy challenge and the prompt was ‘gratitude changes everything’. I have a favorite saying that highlights this concept so I chose those words. I created a gel print using a wood stamp I made on Canson paper. The words gratitude was written with a parallel 6.0 highlighted with white gel pen. The smaller words were written with a micron 1 then filled in with a gray sharpie. I’m very pleased with the way this one turned out.

As we head into the Christmas season let these words remind us that it is not about stuff, things, or gifts. Christmas is about letting the people you love know what you love them which means investing your time and energy in being with them. Nothing you buy can take the place of time spent together.

Christmas means having an attitude of gratitude no matter what comes your way. It means no matter if your feast consists of blue box macaroni and cheese or filet mignon, let your gratitude turn it into a feast. No matter where you live, a tiny house or a mansion, let your gratitude turn it into the home of your dreams.

Attitude changes everything, especially when it is an attitude of gratitude.
