It’s Thanksgiving Day and we celebrate this national holiday by spending time with family, friends, food and sometimes football. It is the national day of thanks for all we have, all we have become, and all those who fight everyday for our freedom. Freedom isn’t free and we need to take time this Thanksgiving to give thanks for all our blessings, and the ability we have to experience it all just the way we want.
No matter what you are doing today, know that your freedom came at a price and that someone is or has served in order for you to be able to make different choices. So raise a glass, eat a piece of pie, or simply give a hug to someone who’s service has made it possible for you to celebrate today.
