Let me write out the quote on this one as I wrote it very small…’The world is round and the place which may seem like the end may also be only the beginning’ I thought these words were a great reminder to all of us. When things happen we need to remind ourselves that endings lead to new beginnings, that endings are not always failures they provide closure and the ability to move forward. The end of one story provides the opportunity for a new story to begin.
In speaking with people from all over this great country of ours I have heard tales of discomfort, blessings, panic and dismay. Everyone is handling this pandemic in their own way and circumstances may or may not allow them to live in an ideal situation. One man I spoke with today has a wife and new born stuck in a foreign country visiting family. He was positive and blessed that everyone is healthy and safe, and he was lonely as he was missing his new son. He said that it has made him much more thoughtful and thankful for the time he had with his son right after he was born. Their situation has made him much more aware of his blessings.
In this grand world we live in we have a choice on how we view it. What is one man’s junk is another man’s treasure. What one person sees as a problem another person sees as an opportunity to invent. What is one person’s end is another person’s idea of a great beginning. It is all about how you look at things.
In this circle called life where are you? At the beginning of a new story in the middle of a great tale or somewhere near a solid ending, which is really a new beginning. It’s all about how you look at it.
