We woke to a foggy morning and it didn’t burn off until later in the day. It reminded me that even the earth needs a different kind of day every once in a while. The fog hovered over the land and everything was still and quiet, peaceful and calm. It was as if the land needed a day to itself to simply be.
In the midst of the holiday season, the hustle and bustle, be reminded that everyone, everything needs calm every once in a while. Don’t wait for a foggy day to be reminded that being still and quiet is a blessing. Silence and calm allow us to refresh our minds and renew ourselves, preparing the way for the amazing things yet to come.
Maybe today needs to be your foggy day, a day of peace and quiet and time set aside to enjoy the simple beauty of your world.
