What is the easiest way to transform someone’s day? Speaking a word of thanks for something they did, even if it was a small thing. It lets them know they matter, they were noticed AND that they are indeed important. Jeanne Ready was right, here is her quote:

I was at a client’s offices today, and saw someone who I had not seen in a long time. We chatted and before we parted they thanked me for coming up to them and saying hello. I didn’t think it was a big deal…she told me it made her day.
In this hustle and bustle world, speaking to people with kindness, generosity and sincerity can seem like no big deal. To the person hearing words of thanks about themselves, it DOES INDEED have the power to transform their day.
Don’t be stingy, tell people thank you for even simple things. The more we share our kindness and are generous with our praise, the more good seeds we send into the world. And who doesn’t need more goodness and kindness in their lives?
So get out there and share your words of thanks!
