You Are Indeed Worthy

As I worked on Maya’s graduation gift, I wondered what words to share…this one is from my own experience. You Are WORTHY! Short and to the point.

No matter who you are or how your life has evolved, there were times when you felt less than, incompetent, incomplete, or even afraid of your options. You thought to yourself, “There is no way I can think that, learn that, try that, or even do that!” Be it a class to take, trying something new and creative, speaking up or even making that next big move in life. We have all been there. And it would have gone much better if we had someone tell us we were indeed worthy of all that and more! Life is not about playing it safe because you are scared or feel insecure…life is about jumping in and trying, doing, and risking!

No matter what that little voice in your head is telling you. No matter what your insecure family member says about your skills or how they remind you about your past mistakes. No matter what that professor tells you, what that arrogance ding dong sitting next to you in class whispers in your ear, no matter what…you are worthy! It doesn’t mean your are perfect or flawless, given a free pass or won’t make HUGE mistakes. It means you are worthy to try, do and fail. And most of all worthy to learn and do it differently next time. No matter what, remember that you are indeed worthy!
