Be Willing to do Whatever It Takes

I planted Shasta Daisies last summer, and this year they are growing like crazy. This bunch grew so tall that they hit the hanging planter above them and swirled around in order to bloom. They grew so tall that they outgrew everything around them and had to adjust to survive. This is the first bloom of many and I look forward to seeing the rest.

Every time I pass this pot I am reminded that we have to be willing to do whatever it takes to succeed. No matter what obstacles life throws our way, no matter if we outgrow where we currently are, even if it means looking a little unconventional, success usually requires ingenuity to survive.

We bloom where we are planted and work hard to grow big and tall. Sometimes it means adjusting the path you thought you would be on to the one you find yourself actually living. It may mean change or adjusting or even confounding your circumstances to bloom. No matter what it takes be willing to do whatever it takes to take care of you and bring to the world the gift that only you can provide.
