What a sad sight – a lonely scooter in the rain. This one was abandoned at a local junk yard in a huge puddle. I could only imagine the kid who patiently sat with their face plastered against the windowpane waiting for the rain to stop.
We’ve all had those days. Rain is pouring, the sky is grey, clouds cover the sunlight…and a nap is the only goal you want to accomplish for the rest of the day. Sometime during your waking hours there may be comfort food, junk food, or large quantities of baked goods…whatever it is you eat, let the comfort food do it’s job. Take the time to savor the rest and indulgence grey days allow.
Sometimes the best way to enjoy these days is to do nothing, accomplish nothing, clean nothing. Are you the kind of person who can actually do nothing? Some of us have a hard time doing nothing…we have the over urging need to get things done, check the box, cross things off the list. I’m here to tell you the world will still revolve around the sun if you spend a day doing nothing. Sometimes nothing is the best medicine for everything. Let the rain drops fall, do nothing and eat your favorites…when the sun comes out again you can get back on your scooter and ride away.
Nice!
