Here you see my husband teaching a 5th grade class about Gyotaku (Inspiration 62). He first showed them how to do it, then we let them each do multiples for themselves.
If you have never had the fun of showing a group of kids art, do it! The energy level and brilliance with which they grasp the concept and fearlfessly tackled their prints is inspiring. For one hour our world was transformed into one where anything was possible, and no one wanted to stop. I would wish that experience for any adult who has forgotten the joy of sharing your skill with someone else.
Today I encourage you to share what you know with a child, any child. Give your knowledge to the next generation, and be inspired and amazed as you pass it on…be willing to let it go forward within their lives and within their imaginations.
