I had to laugh today as what I wrote yesterday in this blog (Inktober Day 3) came to haunt me today. I was driving from Atlanta to Nashville and the navigation system changed it’s mind four times along my journey…I trusted it and kept driving. It took me three extra hours to get here all due to stopped traffic on the interstates.
To connect that to today’s Inktober post, this adventure is now part of my story. Where ever you are…THAT is your story. It may not be the story you want, or the story you planned, and yet it IS your story. We’ve all had highs and lows all along our path. It keeps us humble, makes us relatable, and reminds us that nothing always goes perfect. It’s not about the perfect plan or the perfect life, it is about the person we become along that journey. It is living our life and building our own story.
So after spending seven hours in what should have been a four hour trip, I am going to stop writing and rest my brain. I hope you have great adventures along your days and enjoy telling people about it later. The best people I know ALL have great, funny stories to tell about their adventures.
