I had this art all ready to go and forgot to post it yesterday…being honest. Since the quote is about being honest with ourselves I thought I would start us off that way.
We all tell ourselves little lies. They help us process and navigate all that goes on in our world. It isn’t right, yet we all do it. I was struck by Betty White’s candor here. She reminds us that the lies we tell ourselves are not doing us any favors. All they do is keep up chained within a world of our own creation.
So today I encourage us all to get brutally honest with ourselves. Take note of where we are, who we are, what we want, and how we plan to get it. It may feel uncomfortable, and yet without our own honesty we can lose months or even years of our lives believing the lies we tell ourselves. WE CAN get better, WE DO deserve the hours of hard work, and WE ARE worthy of everything great thing that comes are way.
So be honest with yourself…and go get the life you want and deserve!
