I would LOVED to have seen his face. I bet his eyes bugged out and he thought she was crazy…truly cray cray!! Imagine being Dolly Parton and brining up an idea for a theme park to your lawyer, just stop for a second and imagine that moment….

I had words like guts, chutzpah, pride and a huge imagination come to mind. Dolly is a singer & song writer. What does she know about starting a theme park?
Who cares!
She had the idea and as we all know it is indeed a theme park, and it is called Dollywood! It also employs more people in that area than any other employer. It brings in people from across the globe, AND it provides entertainment, laughter, joy and yummy food all based on the area where Dolly grew up. FANTASTIC is the only word we should all be thinking. Tennessee will never be the same…

I loved this quote as it reminded me that anything done, was once a crazy idea. Be it a theme park, a world wide communication platform (the internet), or the ability for non-astronauts to go into space. Someone had the idea, dared to tell someone else, do the work, and Shazam! The world is changed forever. Hooray for those people who dare to dream beyond their current skill set and believe that it may just be possible.
I encourage you to tell someone your crazy idea AND join the illustrious group of people who dared, worked and changed the world. Let the lawyers call in backup and laugh…the world will be amazed at what can happen when people dream big and work hard!
