I was struck by these words from Betty White. They are short and to the point. Integrity is not something you stumble upon or find, it is something you work to build and maintain. Integrity is solid decision making each and every day, being consistent and trustworthy. And then doing everything you can to maintain your integrity once you have it. Once lost, integrity is VERY hard to rebuild.
For a woman who worked in Hollywood, and was there for more than sixty years, I’m sure she saw a great deal that could build or erode integrity. I appreciated her saying this. It is a great reminder to us all.
Go out and work on your integrity today. Build it such that it will last beyond your lifetime…
