This was the scene that greeted me this morning as I drove out of our driveway. I pulled over to get the shot. It was a reminder to me that even the earth enjoys the peace and quiet that comes after the storms.
I could write volumes about the power of quiet, the peace it brings and the ideas it allows to germinate. I could encourage you to set aside some time today to be quiet to allow yourself to embrace the power of silence. Instead I will ask you to simply enjoy this photo and let the peace and quiet invade your soul.
