This pig is having a grand time rubbing his hind end on these branches. He is having so much fun that he did it for a long time. He moved from one side to the other side making sure that no spot was missed. He made happy pig noises and ignored everything else that went on around him. He was having a wonderful day and didn’t care who knew it.
Isn’t it a wonderful feeling to have a great day? To know that you were on your game and everything you wanted to happen happened. On these days it is as if the world can’t touch you and nothing bad can happen. The positive keeps on heading your direction one thing after another seems to go your way. It’s as if even the lottery would yield to your awesomeness and bend the rules so that your numbers would be the winning combination. You go to bed that night struggling to calm down from your excitement and good fortune, and how your hard work paid off.
These are the days to remind ourselves why we do what we do. They are the reason we get up and what keeps us going when times get tough. These are the days I remind my clients to think about when they are not sure what they want to do in their career. If you think about your wonderful days, what made them wonderful? What were you accomplishing, doing, experiencing that made it such a wonderful day? What makes you want more of that kind of day? Whatever ends up on your list is what you need to watch for, schedule or demand from your future. Now we all know that not everyday will be a wonderful day, yet if we know what our own wonderful day looks like we can work towards having more of them.
Too many times people know what they don’t want, and never think about what they do want. They concentrate on the negative instead of the positive. Both have a place, and both will show up. People who are excited and more than satisfied with their world are living more wonderful days than most. They seek out the elements of life that make their lives better, and that is where they focus. They work like this pig to get the most out of the wonderful things in their world, and they work diligently to craft a world where more wonderful exists.
What does your wonderful day look like? What makes you happier than a pig with a branch? Your life and your dreams are worth pondering this one…
