We are now officially in fall. The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting cooler. The holiday decorations are out and the pumpkins are making their annual appearance. Here we see pumpkins of every size, shape and color. They remind me that no matter how different you are, there is a time and a season for what you bring to the table.
These pumpkins are not round and orange; they are unique and individual. They spend the seasons growing and getting ready for their time to shine. Each one has coemthing to offer, yet they may go unnoticed or under appreciated until this time of year. No one looks for pumpkins in teh summer months, they know pumpkins are not in season. We look forward to Fall as that is when we again get to savor the delights that the pumpkin brings.
If you are feeling over looked or unappreciated maybe it is not that you are invisible, maybe it is just not your season yet. Maybe the world is not ready for what you bring to the table. Now is your time to wait until the right time rolls around and what you have can be fully absorbed by all you meet. Like the pumpkin that waits for fall, you may need to wait for your skills, abilities, and experiences to ripen in order for them to be recognized.
