What is Your Catnip?

You may not be able to read the label on the plant, but it is a barrel of catnip. It is a favorite treat for cats. Our old gal Gabbi seems to have found it and is enjoying a little nip. I got a kick out of seeing her work herself into the barrel enough to be able to rub her head in this herb. She spent some time enjoying herself, then sat still and quiet on the ground near the barrel. She seemed to be savoring her accomplishment and the beauty of a job well done. 

I appreciated her efforts and passion to get what she wanted. She worked hard and put forth the effort. Then she spent time basking in her accomplishments. So what are you willing to work hard to accomplish? What do you want badly enough to climb into a barrel and rub around? There has to be something you want with that much passion, something worth your time, energy and effort. 

Maybe today is a good day to think about what you want, something that is your catnip. Think about what you are willing to become uncomfortable to accomplish. If you are willing to do the work, no matter how hard it might be, you can accomplish anything. Just ask Gabbi.
