Inspiration: The Lesson I Take from Orange

Orange the color of fall…pumpkins, candy corn, fall leaves, butterscotch, and caramel. Such a warm and friendly color. Strange enough, it is the only word in the English language that does not rhyme with anything. Here you see a group of antique coffee cups in a beautiful shade of orange.

Orange the color of summer…beach balls, orange juice, cream sicles, fruit slices, and the hot sun. Such an energetic color. So how can a one color be both fall and sumer? That seems hard to believe and yet for both seasons orange is a key player. It brings itself to both fall and summer with an explosion of color. It doesn’t apologize for being itself.

The lesson I take from orange is that even if nothing rhymes with you, you can bring life to many seasons. Never apologize for being you…no matter the season of life.
