Inspiration: Right Under Your Toes

As we work around our house, we can see the signs of Spring. Here is a close up shot of moss growing on a piece of concrete. Check out all the different shades of green, the textures, and the way it is spreading. I work hard over the seasons to keep our moss growing and thriving. I do that because I know it is the little things that make a difference.

You know what I mean. It’s an encouraging word or simple act of kindess to a stranger. It’s a pat on the back or a hug when you are not expecting it. It’s the different small things you see as you walk around a space that make it YOUR space. It’s the doors and shades and textures that add life and depth. It’s feeling good about yourself, day after day after day. It’s feeling loved and respected by everyone you encounter. It’s noticing the little things that can make a big difference.

What little things can you see today that will make the difference? I challenge you to stop and look closely, you might be surprised about what is right under your toes…
