Here you see two very creative men who both love their craft. My Dad, Bill Moore is on the left (Go Iowa State!) and Dave Taylor is on the right. Here you see them working on the legs for one of Dad’s tables. Dad draws what he wants, and Dave fabricates it. Dave teaches welding at Chattahoochee Technical College in Jasper, Ga. Both men are passionate about what they do…and neither wants to do what the other one does. They don’t compete with each other, they complete each other.
What partnership do you have in your profession or creativity that makes you better than when you work alone? If you don’t have that, then there is your challenge for today. Start laying the foundation for a great partnership that helps you become better at what you do. If you do have people in your life that help you get better, be sure to thank them AND help them get better at what they do.
The real blessing in this world is finding people who share a passion for life. Let them help you and in turn you will help them. Making the world a better place, make it better together.
