The American Craft Council show is going to be in Atlanta this weekend…we received our mailer last week and can’t wait. Much of the local press has had articles on all the different artists that will be sharing their talents. Included in that press is an article of two Cherokee County artists – Bill Moore (my Dad) & Nancy Cann (my friend). Here is the link to the article:
Master Crafts: Artists to Show Their Talents at Annual Exhibition
If you have any desire to be inspired by what creative people can create, then you do not want to miss this show. Everything from clothes to jewelry, from furniture to light fixtures will be featured. If you have any desire to see inventive and unique handmade items…don’t miss this show. If you think you have seen it all and that there is nothing new under the sun…you’re wrong…don’t miss this show. Have you figured out that you don’t want to miss this show?
Bill Moore will be exhibiting his spectacular workworking. Nancy Cann will be showing her handmade glass art…amazing items! Both are very talented and inventive artists from Cherokee County. Their work alone is worth the trip, let alone the other 220 artists.
My tip for you today is to go out and enjoy someone else’s work. See a movie, go to a play, visit the American Craft Council Show…just go enjoy what someone else created. Revel in thier style…soak in their creativity. Live vicariously through their ability to produce wonderful art. It may be wood and glass, and yet it contains so much more!
