Inspiration 330: On and Around the Table

These apples are from a grocery store in Osaka, Japan. They were sitting on a produce shelf just outside the store entrance. What I love is the careful way each one is wrapped and arranged to highlight each individual piece of fruit. Someone took great care and spent time working to bring the best to light. Each apple has value and the store employee made sure the display highlighted it all.
On this national holiday of over eating, turkey, family, and football…give thanks for the people around you. Give thanks for all they bring to the table – the good, the bad and the ugly – give thanks for the arrangements they all made so you could be together. Give thanks for the interesting, amazing, fun and annoying things you know about them. And give thanks that you live in a country where you are free to gather, talk and eat whatever you want…in safety and free from fear.

Most of all give thanks for the abundance each day of life provides…value all the things on and around your table!
