Rolls and rolls and rolls of words rest in this display bowl on a table. I thought it was a great way to celebrate the volumes of written words that sit somber and ignored on shelves and in corners. It drew me to it as I wanted to see what words they were, and what they were communicating.
How about you? What do your words communicate? Do they draw people in or drive them away? Do you speak to share or speak to prove you are right? Can you go through a conversation and not say the word “I”? Or is it always about you?
Today I encourage you to find new words and new ways to communicate wthout making it about you…make it about someone else. Draw them in with your words and communicate their value…
