It’s that time of year – school is back in session. I saw these in a store and it made me think about all the years I attended pubic school and faced the first day of class. It was a mix of excitement, fear, anxiety, hope and a feeling that somehow this year would be different. It made me think about all the hours I spent in a classroom learning new concepts and usefull, useless facts.
Today I wish for you the excitement of that first day of school. The combination of all the emotions packed in with hope and the promise of future accomplishements. I wish for you to feel that same dred and anticipation of the unexpected. I wish for you to look forward to something new and different…with a lot of hard work thrown in for good measure. The prospects of unused supplies and the thriil of opening a new package of crayons. I wish for you the joy of facing new people, new options, new adventures…not knowing if you will pass or fail…but you’re willing to try!
It’s time to go for it…open that unsharpened pencil and put your mark on a piece of blank paper…the possibilites are endless!!!
