My husband made me chicken soup this past weekend because I was not feeling well. The noodles were gluten free and the chicken chunks were delicious. I ate five bowls!
You know those days. The ones where you are not feeling well, you don’t have the energy to do anything, and you just want to be a couch potato. You’re horizontal, under a blanket, and probably a mouth breather. Whether it is Monday or Saturday, you just don’t care.
Soup is the magical food that makes me always feel better. There is something in the combination of hot, “chickenie” liquid, noodles and fresh vegetables that clears your sinuses and soothes your soul. I am thankful that my husband is such a good soup maker, and can create it on such short notice.
Today I encourage you to find some good soup and enjoy it, because some days ya’ just need soup.
