I always enjoy seeing this mural on the side of an art supply store in Atlanta. It reminds me of when wild colors, free movement, and ployester fashions were the norm. What I also appreciate is the time and energy, as well as planning it must have taken to execute this mural. It was no small feat I’m sure.
What are you thinking about that is no small feat? Anything? Is there an idea in your head percolating around, just waiting for the tools and courage to move into execute mode? What’s holding you back? Resources? Skills? Money? Fear? Any of those are reasons, they will become excuses when you stop trying to find a solution.
Just like disco, your idea does not need to be dead. Just because you have a reason (or excuse) not to implement doesn’t mean you should not do it. Don’t let fear stop you…if we thought about the long term implications from every aspect, would anyone have thought disco was a good idea? The frightening fashions and strange girations would have put us on the alert to go no further. Instead of the paralysis of analysis, just get out there and boogie. ..who cares what people think…
