There are all sorts of sizes, shapes, colors, textures and I’m sure an immeasurable amount of untold stories in all these brushes. I see paint brushes, shoe polishing tools, dusters, and even a possible shaving tool or two. All were used to apply something or clean something, or make something better. Each is different and served a different purpose, yet all made something better.
Today this picture makes me think of the many different challenges people encounter, and how sometimes the best approach is to just brush it off…let it go, sweep away the dirt and grime and start with a clean slate. It takes time to clean things up – it takes patience, expertise, and a little elbow grease. So what kind of brush do you need to employ today? Take time today to clean up one thing – anything – pick that thing that has bothered you…clean it up, step back and enjoy the results from your hard work…then move on.
