The color and texture is amazing. I see it as organic and hearty – and yet when it gets nipped by frost it can look like a science experiment gone awry. This shot was taken in an office park, the landscaping crew had just installed this grouping as the new rotation for the season.
I enjoy the color each time I walk by. Maybe knowing that it won’t be around all summer makes me appreciate it even more. I probably take it’s beauty for granted, and then miss it once it is replaced by colorful annuals.
Take time to appreciate that something you pass by each day and take for granted…today savor it and enjoy it’s value and beauty.
