Ann mentioned that I had completed the guest book for the booth. It was a blast to do. I used a guest book text block that I got from Hollanders. The cost for the actual block was very reasonable. And as you can see from the results it turned out pretty amazing!
We wanted the gallery card to be part of the cover. So I made a window in a thin piece of cardboard (almost card stock in thickness). That was where the card was to sit. After gluing on the cover paper, I just wasn’t happy with how the card was going to look. It was sort of lost in the busyness of the paper. So I then decided to glue a “frame” using the chartreuse book-cloth tape. I then glued the card in, and really didn’t like it. It seemed that it needed something to “push it into” the book. So I redid the border again, this time over the card and it looks fine. More work than was needed in my opinion. Next time I will learn my lesson on it.
