We have been open almost a month and time has really flown. With the opening comes the responsiblity of being open and staying open. This is no longer just an idea I had in my MBA program, it is a REAL business with licenses, tax numbers, inventory and clients. It also means thinking like an owner and managing like an owner. Whew! That means a lot more to do items…but GREAT to do items.
We have updated the gallery website. It looks more like we wanted it to, and Kevin has done an awesome job. Each artist has a page and all of us are in the process of updating our artist’s bio section. I need to remind myself that this is a process not a destination. Things will constantly be changing as we move forward, grow and increase our inventory.
One thought that I have about this gallery is that it is really a dream come true for Kevin and I. Each of us separately had the thought to one day own/open a gallery. That thought lingered in my head for almost ten years. Now it is a reality. WOW! Is this country great or what!?! If you can dream it and are willing to work hard, you can do what you dream…if you are willing to do the work. Stay tuned for more thoughts on the gallery and dreams coming true.
